I went to Wal-Mart to buy some 5W-40 Mobil 1 Diesel Motor Oil and it is NO LONGER there!?!?!

What did they do with it? Have they stopped making it?

 

All the local WM in my area still have shelves full of it.

 

I just pickup up some 15W-40 Mobil Delvac 1300 Super motor oil at Walmart for $9.12/gallon.

Is that what your thinking of?

 

I noticed that too, pet05, that the $24 a gallon Mobil One is no longer on the shelves. I was browsing through the oil isle at our Super Wally World (Made in China World) and they only have Rotella and Multi-Tech available. I did not even see the Mobil Delvac Dino oil on the shelf.

According to the Mobil 1 web-site, they still make it, maybe they are having a shortage at some Wal-Marts?? It's like the rice supply...

 

The Rotella 5w-40 (in gallons anyway) is the same way at my Walmart - sells faster than they stock they shelves. I wait a week and it's back.
