I would imagine they will all be V8's in the future. Less NVH etc.

I sure hope they keep the Megas; it's the best part of the Dodges aside from the Cummins engines. When you are tall like me with tall friends and a huge Great Dane, anything less than the Mega is useless and too small. I despise the Crewcab because it's too small to be useful but too big to make the truck manueverable like a standard cab shortbed!

as far as I know cummins still makes the 4 banger and is used in heavy equipment primarialy by case in backhoes etc. it is basically the same block just 2 cyl shorter I think that would make a hell of an engine and even better donor for my jeep

No ones ever complained about being in the back of my quad cab... And if they did they can find their own ride ...

I'm indifferent although curious I'm hoping that my truck will last me a long time, in 3 years I want a new 911 (if they don't screw it up) as a daily and keep the truck for work... Trying to take care of the cummins as much as I can.

That would be sweet in a jeep, it's good motor in industrial applications as well.

That engine would be great in just about anything, Jeep, 1948-1968 Dodge W-300 Powerwagon, 1984-1985 Toyota 4Runner, FJ-40, etc.....

I guess it's a crap shoot when your a marketing guy. I don't have tall friends in my truck, it's my kids, and their complaining about the upright seating position, headrests in thier face, and no leg room. I don't have a Great Dane. I need a crew cab and an 8 foot bed. If the 6.4 TT is a good motor, you'll see that Dodge hit it's peak in the 03' to 06' model years.

It looks like they are squaring up the front to look more like the Ford and Chevy's... You can't look at the back.. that is just a mule truck.. they put the new front end on the old back so they can check cooling and performance..

I heard that dodge is going away from the "Mini Semi" style front end....
