2007 steering issues

Wanted to see if anyone else has had an issue with the steering box on thier 2007. Mine just hit 11K and starting to notice some play in the steering box at top center, you can move the steering wheel about 1 inch either way before the tire starts to move. Tracks straight on the road, just think it is in the steering box.

Went thru all of the steering mods on my 2002, DSS Steering Stabilizer, 3rd gen track bar, PSC steering box, Bilstein shocks, borgeson steering shaft, etc, etc etc. Was hoping not to get involved in the steering so soon on the new one.

Oh well, guess i will take it to the dealership next week for a new steering box.

jkap, let me know what they find with this. I have lived with this for over a year and they say it's normal play. If you're able to see an improvement, i'd love to give my service rep a copy of this post.

I am going to kick and scream if they call this normal play as it did not do it for the first 10K, but we will see. If they replace anything, I will let you know.
