2005 Dodge ram trailer brake plug wires NO POWER
2005 Dodge ram trailer brake plug wires NO POWER
Ok so i just got a brake controller and i plug the factory plug from dodge up under dash that powers the brake controller and WITH OUT thinking i cut the wires all at the same time and there was a spark.
I found a fuse trailer battery which was blown in the fuse box and replaced it but now when i test the white with red tracer which is 12+ there is no power. So there is no power to my brake controller. Is there another place or fuse i need to check. i checked all fuses in the fuses box. Thanks alex

It cant be the brake controller because there is no power coming from the wires i plug under the dash of the truck. So if no power is coming from them then no power will be in the controller yet. The problem was in fuse # 1. The electric brake 30 amp was blown. # 19 was also blown which is a 20 amp but i noticed that right away and replaced. You really have to look at the bigger fuses to tell they are blown.
Thank for your help
