2004 3500 dually leveling kit and tires

I have a 2004 ram 3500 dually with the 5.9, im looking for a leveling kit and have measured my tires three times now and got 3.5 inch difference from front to rear, i just want someone to be able to confirm that? also im looking for the biggest tires once its level. ive read multiple places that 35" 12.5" are the biggest you can go on stock rims with a leveling kit and a few places say you need spacers for the rear with that. Can anyone help me out? i am not personally a fan of spacers and would like to avoid them at all costs

Do you plan on putting a load in the back of the Truck? Pulling a trailer? If so,, no leveling kit. Truck has a rake so it will be level with load. ALSO, if you pull heavy, I wouldn't go 35's, unless you are doing it for looks.
Bottom line, higher and bigger tires = crappy performance pulling weight.

I hope you have airbags... otherwise 'level' is just asking for a sad looking truck anytime you carry a load with it.

A 12.50" wide tire doesn't work well on 6" wide wheels adequately spaced for a 9" wide tire. Somethings gotta give. Avoid spacers at all costs? You can get custom size/offset dually wheels. Or look at custom super-single type wheels.

I have a couple of older DRW trucks... I even kept some old 9.00R16's for recap, but that ship has sailed (carcasses now too old). I only bother with bigger tires in SRW format. The load capacities are up there (3700-4000#) if you pick the right tire, so as not to undermine your DRW's GVWR.
