When did you last change the belts and hoses? If you haven't, I would go ahead and change them now. Even if they were changed 50k ago, I'd change them, although that might be a little overkill.

Hoses in particular, over time, will swell & age at the temps of the fluids in them and under hood.

Because everything runs off the serpentine belt, I'd change it. Cheap insurance!

Hope this is not too much overkill.....Tony

As I said earlier, I haven't done anything to the truck but change the oil/fuel filters and engine oil every 5k and i did the differentials at around 50k.

Where is a good place to buy your belts and hoses?

I'd really like to upgrade to Don M's injectors, but I don't know anyone in the Fort Worth area that could change these out for me.

I believe you can get a good year gator back at NAPA.

Send Lary Ellis an email, I bet he can tell you if we have a vendor in that area that can install the injectors if you want them that bad...

You should come to one of our N. Texas get togethers sometime. We have a couple of guys that can swap out injectors depending on the meet. The cost is usually paid for with a 6-pack of the installers favorite liquid refreshment.

Ditto the napa for parts....

You could also go to cummins for the belts and hoses.....I'd stay away from DC....TOOOOOOOOO overpriced!
