I forgot to say debadge the doors - I have it done as well - I thought it left a "shadow" on mine, but a little work with some mineral spirits and that was gone. Recon cab lights are a touchy subject it seems, but I am happy with mine. Taillights are not a direct replacement with older styles, they hook up differently, not sure on the specifics, but I think the new ones have 3 connections and the older styles only have 2?

If you get them now they won't and if you a have a little shadowing after you remove them, Meguiers #9 swirl remover will take of that.

I am sure it could be done somehow - I just know they are not direct replacements. I know Recon sells smoked LED taillights that are the older styling, but they require some wiring to be done on the 07's, I dont think they are direct replacement either. I am sure if you searched you could find some answers - Maybe Cbrahs will chime in, I think he has the Recon replacements, so he may know what needs to be done with the wiring?

Wow! To think of what I could have loaded up had I had a truck like this at 18 Use some fishing line and the badges will come right off. I pulled the 2500 badges off mine and smoothed the tailgate too but chose to leave the Cummins "C" on the fenders. It might leave an outline but nothing a little rubbing compound and 5 minutes elbow grease won't take care of. Cab lights will help it a lot and so will bigger tires. The older style taillights won't just swap in the wiring is different. I hated the "space age" ones at first too but they eventually grew on me.

Clean tailgate (note these led taillights are no longer in the truck i went back to stock):

Those are all some nice trucks! Looking at JB's vs the others there, the rear wheel well liners are nice. I have them too. Cleans up the look and keeps the dirt mostly in the wells. I also put on the Dodge molded mud flaps front and rear to protect the paint...

Did you notice the engine pic it said "6.7" I think that explains it Now where is that guy that traded his 6.7 back in for a 5.9 ....or maybe he just had the key on without the engine running it will make check eng light come on that way....

I was think'n the same but didn't want to rub it in! The engine was running cause if you notice the gauges (volt/oil pressure) there sitting in the middle.

Leveling kit and H2's! I did notice that after 1 year my 2006 3500 front springs had sagged enough that I couldnt get a 5 gallon bucket underneath the oil pan like I used to. So, my point is, even if its level now, I think the heavy Cummins does a number on the front springs.

OH- go get the OEM Dodge sidestep pipes; they have the black ones on sale right now at Dodgeparts.com (I took some chrome ones off a buddies truck that's getting repo'd!). They look great and their tucked up enough they dont high center offroad, but they still make it much easier for my little ones/wife to get in/out.

If it were my truck: debadge, window tint, cab lights, bigger tires, maybe some LED tail lights, 3rd brake light, line of fire, and call it a day.

Didn't you read the forum rules? I didn't think so they clearly say you can't make a post like that without pics.
