Is it 100% sure done deal that the 06 trucks will only have the 3/36 warranty? Think they might have a change of heart with the GM deals that are going on now?

Cummins, warranty will remain 5/100. The rest of the vehicle including the drivetrain will be 3/36.

From what I read, the 7yr/70K mile powertrain warranty was DCX response to poor customer satisfaction with Dodge's vehicles prior to them buying Dodge. This was a way for DCX to retain customer loyalty. Now that the quality seems to be improving and cust sat is increasin, it is only natural that DCX do away with the warranty and fall in line with what Ford and GM are doing. Unfortunately, it was a selling point to me, and one factor that influenced my decision to buy a DCX vehicle, and I am saddened to see it go. But with the financial instability of the automobile market, cost cutting is a way of life these days.
