'06 dually wheel skin removal

Is there a trick way to remove the dually wheel skins without screwing them up? TIA, Tom.

I just use a large flat screw driver and go around the skin. Pry just a little bit every few inches. The skin should pop out easily.

There is a tool under the passenger's seat of my 04.5, part of the jack tools, that is used for removing the centers and skins. The one for the centers has a notch on the side of it. Just place it against the side of the center with the notch toward the center and jerk outwards, HARD. If you do it correctly the center will fly about fifteen feet.

They come off easily - front take the hub cap off and the skin just falls off.. the rear, being dished inwards, is a little harder, but putting a long prybar under the edges of the skin got them off with no damage. I now have discarded the skins, but kept the hubcaps.. looks pretty good, I think.
