03 Tracking info.
Re:03 Tracking info.
I'm new here, but have been lurking for a long time. I ordered mine on May 13th. The dealer said it should be here any day! I tried those nmumbers, and the web-site, but could only get info from the dealer. What's the secret to getting info on-line?
Re:03 Tracking info.
>:( OK, I have an update, my 2500CTD was off loaded in Birmingham June 3rd from the CSX railcar, and it's still there, something to do with negotiating a new contract between DC and Alaplex the truck carrier. Go figure, 4 hours from Nashville and 15 days later it hasn't moved.
Re:03 Tracking info.
Nikolai,<br>I called 800-992-1997 and followed prompts to get to a real person, can't remember how I did this but it was simple. I was put on hold for a few minutes while they checked status.

mine got crossed to another rail car the other day.... dealer says trucking has it.. dely any minute!

When trucking got mine, that is when the troples began. Since it was so large, trucking co parked it at the back of the lot. They made up their loads with the smaller vehicles, PT Cruisers, Neons, Stratus, etc. Three weeks later it was still sitting at the back of the lot. Four different days the truckers promised to deliver it within a couple of hours, four times they failed to deliver. Finally the dealer drove some 35 miles to the trucker's lot and demanded it be delivered, NOW! 90 minutes later it was at the dealer's lot. Truckers deliver the easy ones first, then yours when the get around to it. ??? ???

Re:03 Tracking info.
Mine took appx. ten days to arrive at the dealership after arriving at the final rail destination. The dealership is 120 miles from the rail yard. I guess it could have been much worse like the trucks that were caught up in the paint inspection mess.

These truckers are very independent, deliver what they want to when they choose. ??? :P
Re:03 Tracking info.
Finally brought the bad boy home with me yesterday. The car hauler driver cut the side wall on one of the front tires pretty deep while backing off the carrier, dealer swapped out with another tire off of truck sitting on lot. I love this thing ;D
