Re:$500 holiday bonus cash announced!!!!

i've been asking a lot of questions about this to anybody who will listen. here is what i've been told (as well as everything i listed above).
• this is not a rebate. it is a "cash incentive"
 • the purpose of this "incentive" is move dealer stock
 • the "incentive" is not availible when doing a "price lock" you must take delivery, not just place an order
my info has varied from dc rep to dc rep and from dealer to dealer so YMMV. personally, i am trying to get this worked into my overall price just in case deals don't get better. i have heard that the rebates are expected to go up on these trucks post jan 4th though. the speculated numbers that i have heard have been $1500 or $2000. nobody is expecting any sweet rebates (like the caravans) of $2500 + extras... a better rebate of $1500 or $2000 would make all of this a moot point for those of us taking delivery sometime next year....

I was going to take delivery on an 03 out of dealer stock this month. But I have a bell ringing in the back of my head that says DC's newest set of incentives are going to get much better after the first of the year. So, hard as it maybe, I'll just wait two more weeks and see what happens.
[/quote]

When I purchased my 2002 this is also how it was told to me. The day I placed the factory order there was a $500 "cash incentive" going on. I asked if I got that on top of the Dodge rebate offer and the Farm Bureau Rebate. They said I would ONLY get the $500 cash incentive if it was being offered THE DAY I TOOK DELIVERY, but the Dodge Rebate and Farm Bureau Rebate would be honored. I was told if the Dodge Rebate changed between the time I ordered and the day I took delivery I would be entitled to the higher $$$ rebate. But like said "cash incentive" or "dealer cash" is ONLY available on the day you sign papers and take delivery.

What kind of finance rates do you southerners have from DC? In Canada it is 3.8, 5.8, 7.8 for 3/4/5 years respectively. We have zero incentives ???. The whole industry has been far busier in Canada this year...bummer.
