I have an 08 2500 6.7 n I gotta put it back to stock n the egr n afe intake I know what to do but I have the big smarty programmer n I heard that its vin locked n I wanna use it on my new dodge which is the same year n motor how can I unlock it?

 

It is only locked to the truck the programming is currently installed on. Are you deleted? If you are then you will have to obviously have SOME sort of tuner or sims to fool the computer for the truck to even be drivable. If you put all the emissions stuff back on and hook it up though you will be fine. But to keep your smarty all you need to do is return the programming to stock and fool your computer in your truck some other way if you are deleted.
