I read on mads site that when deleting the dpf and egr in order to have no issues with the check engine light you have to install the software when no check engine light is on? so my question is, can you clear all dtc codes then install the software and not have the issue with the check light coming back on? Quick replies needed thanks guys

 

I think it depends on what your CEL is. If it is emmisions related then you can clear codes and delete and install the software. If the CEL is not emmisions related, you should still have it show up.

I would highly suggest, especially if emmsions related and under warantee, to make sure the emmissions are fixed and working properly, then delete. If you need to go back to stock then you have a solid foundation.
