Ok just got my Smarty in and I tried to update it to the ME software but it will not let me. Keep getting the ftd2xx.dll not found. Followed all of MADS instructions on the site but nothing works. Using the wifes computer with Vista installed.

 

ok not sure what just happened but it worked....

I had some issues getting the latest update done as well since my computer hard drive took a dump recently and had to get all those files and such correct and updated on my system. Took me a couple times to get it right. Glad you got er done.

 

I used the old xp file with the driver uninstalled to wipe them out then Vista finally updated the drivers and it worked.

Now I can wait to get all my other stuff in and start playin!

 

Sounds like the EJA/Smarty stack is going to be a nice deal. I'm thinking maybe I should have got the EJA to have the stack and gauges instead of just the insight... However, I am totally happy with just the smarty. Good luck on the patience :-).

 

Im gonna take it easy with the stack till I see what potential it has.

Im just stuck for a while cause the deletes havent been delievered at home yet and I will have to wait for the wife to bring them to me at work when they come in. That might be a couple of weeks yet.

Oh well, Ive waited this long, a little longer wont kill me. Im just not looking forward to the parking lot wrenching. Much rather be at home in the shop.

 

Had the same issue with another one I did lately. Had to turn off the internet when I loaded the Mads files. Congrats bud. It'll be a blast. Were you able to get a picture of yourself with Madhat? With or without bunny ears?

We did get a pic together, his dad took it. I didnt get any bunny ears in, but I may have been the victim....

Im sure he will post it later, havent heard from him in a bit but I know hes gotta be crazy busy with the relocation.
