how can I tell if my Smarty S67 has the update feature loaded into it. I have had for 6 years and haven't used it for long time. My son bought a 2012 and he wants to do the delete in the future.

You can update all smartys, just need the right software that is no longer posted on the mads website. Unfortunately at this time Smarty does not work well with the 2012s, if you can wait a couple weeks/months then hopefully Smarty will have a good 2012 file out.
