Delete Muffler and cat or not?

I have heard of guys getting that "diesel" smell in their truck when doing the cat and muffler delete. I am definitely doing the dpf delete but don't know if the cat and muffler delete would be a good idea. I don't want the family smelling like diesel every time we go somewhere. Thought?

I want to hear my turbo whistle like a sob. I want people to know I am coming w/o changing to a 5" exhaust. I am assuming the cat is attached to the downpipe?

What does the throttle valve delete do, and can I do it without a programmer? Or... Should I buy a new performance intake horn?

Speaking of quiet... Guys at work thought it was a gasoline engine.

I've never noticed any diesel smell in my truck unless you're at a red light with the windows down and the wind is blowing just right.. However it has caused some diesel odor inside a few Powerchokes here and there but that's about it..Lol.

I run a 4" turbo back setup, no muffler. It's got a good sound but I seem to think it's not quite as loud as a 5.9. Especially in the turbo department.

I just conducted a full delete on my 2008 6.7. I used a Flo-Pro down pipe and dpf pipe. I left the factory muffler and it sounds great and with no smell in the cab.

Do the deletes, get yourself a programmer and CAI (cold air intake). I have an S&B and I can really hear the turbo singing after installing. The stock intake has ducts, baffles, and such which really make it quiet. My S&B fixed that though. TV just cleans up the area so there is one less thing not needed. The CAT is in the downpipe. I just have a NOX/DPF delete pipe and stock muffler. I can hear the turbo due to the CAI, and the exhaust is just a bit more throaty.

A 6.7 will always be quieter than a 5.9 because of the VGT.
I have a Flopro 5" turbo back and it's louder than stock but no where near as loud as a 5.9. I really like the sound it makes, a deep growl that is never intrusive.
Diesel smell? A little but only if the breeze is blowing the right direction, at the right speed, on the third Tuesday of every second month. In other words, yes there is more odour than stock but so minor it's not an issue.

X3. I prefer the smell of the unaltered burned diesel instead of the hot stuff from the DPF..

The turbo sound is as already stated, controlled by the VGT. Way different sound than the regular Wastegated turbo. The EB certainly turns heads..

I don't see anything for a 2010 Dodge exhaust wise

Call Lary and see.. I am sure the Flo-Pro delete pipes are good for the 2010 as well.
