Codes with Edge
Hey guys, Im posting this for a buddies truck. He has an 08 6.7 that he did DPF delete on. Hes using the Edge Race w/ Attitude. He has all the sims in the exhaust and the Attitude isnt clearing the codes on startup. His truck keeps going into regen. Any suggestions on what to tell him to do.

Check the sims. Make sure the contacts are clean and connected good. If you have a voltmeter ohm them out and make sure they are 100 ohms. Maybe swap them around. I was getting codes for a low voltage on one of the sensor banks, took them off, clean them and swapped them around. No trouble after that.

EGR shouldn't cause the regen. It just recirculates and gets the first past of unburnt fuel. The dpf and 4th event (active regen) get the rest. I do know that the 1st tattle tale to trigger active regen is the exhaust temp at the dpf. If that is at a constant temp high enough for a passive regen then it shouldn't active regen. Not sure if they have anything programmed into the stock software for a mandatory regen interval that the S67 bypasess but I honestly don't think there is.
I had my edge for about 14 months with the regen alert on and never seen the message.

These are the codes he is getting
P2A01 - O2 sensor 1/2 circuit performance
P2453- DPF pressure sensor A circuit performance
p242B - EGT sensor circuit performance (bank 1 sensor 3)
P2084 - EGT sensor circuit performance ( bank 1 sensor 2)
P2080 - EGT sensor circuit performance ( bank 1 sensor 1)
P2000 - NOX adsorber effiency below threshold ( bank 1)
P244A - DPF differential to low
He called Edge and they said to put the O2 in the exhaust and pressure sensors to atmosphere. Does anybody have pics of how the sims should be hooked up? I have no idea about the sims since I made the "smart" choice.

The dpf pressure sensor tubes on the side of the tranny should just vent to atmosphere.
The sims should be plug and play, they plug directly into the factory temp sensors harness.
He should have the O2 sensors in the pipe.
For that money he could and SHOULD have gotten an S67 TBE and some gauges, but......
I'm biased.
