I am thinking of buying a 08 2500 megcab with the 6.7 and six speed auto. MY question to you guys is 39,000 befor tax and license a good price or should i look around and how is the new motor and trans holding up pulling 18,000 plus also what is the best programer out for them ?

 

Towing capacity for the 2500 is only 15650lbs. The 3500 is 16350lbs. Unless you're talking about combined weight you're coming up a little short in the light truck market.

 

I pull more than that and have 0 problems.

 

I tow this with the truck i have and it does fine and i am talking about trailer only i weighed my truck and trailer and the total was 26,764
