So true. If i were to ever do something like that I would def. go with some larger/better rated axles. Those things look like they will be the weak link in the whole setup [laugh] [dummy]

Those are Rockwell 2 1/2 ton axles...

Not hardly. I have driven alot of "large" vehicle's with air bags, from 1 ton's, to RV's to Big Rig's, and they do not ride better than my truck. Air Bag is typically too SOFT for me, alot of body roll and the such. Like RV's for example, the diesel pusher's have air bag's, and they ride like a Cadillac going down the road, which is too soft for a truck.

I guess I should have been clear in my statement in "riding like crap", as not meaning to HARD, but the ride will be SOFT which means SLOPPY in this case.

Sometimes there are a few dudes out there that have a big truck and a big...

I bet it rides fine...the tire and wheel combo must place quite a bit of weight down low (well lower) to offsett its height some. Airbags are smooth...

My point exactly. I am not big on the smooth ride on our trucks.
