With the stacker I assume there are different levels of pressure. But do they add up to 100 hp on pressure alone or is it a max of somewhere around 50 hp. Is it like an mp8 just not quite as adjustable?

Then I assume that the xzt2 only has 3 levels? this is the new 65 hp box. I loaded the smoke tune and definately no smoke at all. I only hit 30 psi on boost so does this mean that I have the wrong file loaded? I know that the gauge is hooked up ok same as before.

On the 65hp Smoke Tuning you will get a lot of smoke from a stop, and upon initial acceleration but, just running down the road and rolling into it is not going to produce much smoke.

It is still just 65hp.

Well oce again I am the odd one out. Not a single little puff of smoke. It pulls nice and hard down low, I checked the file that I have loaded and it is the appropriate one. It will spin the tires like nobodys buisness but no smoke, any ideas on what might be wrong?

At least yours will pull hard down low and break the tires loose. Mine is supposed to be 100hp and I can hardly tell it is turned on. I tried again today to produce smoke and had the same result as you. Tech support did not get back with me today.

I don't have a rail pressure gauge. I read on another forum that there is to be a new update for the commander in a few weeks to allow the adjusting of new levels, tomorrow I will try it with the 2 wires from the commander unpluged. Who knows..

Well, this is a shot in the dark but, I am guessing you have a weak/bad/faulty pressure relief valve.

Even at 65hp you should really notice the power. If your rail pressure checks out let me know. It could be something in the box but, I cannot see that with what is going on.

Any ideas on what the max boost with 65hp box should be? Mine only makes 30psi and runs up to 1400 on the egt, if there was more boost there should be less egt.

with normal programming you should see 38-41psi. EGT's will be cooler with more boost.

I think there are other issues right now that are causing you not to make the boost.

With my box on the 65 hp setting I will see boost levels that Quad stated at full throttle. I have never seen EGT's over about 1250*.

just hop in the truck tonight and come over. i'll look at it and between you, quad, and myself we can figure it out. it will take me a few minutes to check your relief valve out. no sweat.
