Will it work?

My brother has a 2006 Quad Cab 2500 just like mine except his has the 6 speed and a Jacobs brake. He wants to put a 5" turbo back exhaust on it. I'm not entirely sure a 5" will bolt up with an exhaust brake. Will it? If not what do I have to do to make it work?

The 5" exhaust I have bolted right up with my Jacobs brake.

I have an auto trans., but I doubt that makes any difference.

Mine is the Magnaflow in my signature.

I bought the kit, cut the stock exhaust off,

and bolted the new one up.

The top of the downpipe that bolted where the exhaust brake was the same size as the factory pipe for about 3"s. (4"s)

It then increased in size to 5" from there back.

I figured that's how it worked. I'll have to call the company and find out if their down pipe is the same. Thanks for the help.
