Not with and 04.5 or and 05. Maybe on an 06? Not sure I've read anybody trying it. 06 No longer has the datalink cable connection which was rumored to be the issue with the 04.5/05. With the 04.5/05 the edge makes no more power, no matter what setting it's on. Mine seemed to lose power. Didn't like the info it was getting from the computer that smarty had modified is what I heard.

It wont stack very well because Smarty and the Edge both do timing and duration.

if I were you i'd get a TS MP8 for pressure.

Well, that's 1/2 right.

"if I were you i'd get a TS MP8 for pressure." < that part is good advise.

The TS is good advise for sure. But you can definitely stack the Smarty and a duration+timing box. TST is a prime example. However you should have the adjustable TST box so that it doesn't add any timing over the Smarty, or use the TST timing and set Smarty for an even number (no timing added)

There are quite a few posts on here why it doesnt work. The edge doesn't like what it sees coming from the datalink connector after Smarty has reprogrammed the ECM. Seems like its an 04.5/05 issue. I've seen people stack it with an 06 (no datalink cable anymore) and I think an 03 that worked.

No matter what you put the Edge to it doesn't add anymore power. My truck felt slower as soon as I turned the edge past 0 but others have reported it was same, just no additional power.
