This guy bought a TST Chip for his 06 and had it for 2 months and sold the car so took whatever needed to be taken out, out of it. Will it work for my 2005 dodge?

 

Probably need to get new wiring harness, but otherwise should work. Call TST and find out what you need.

 

Come on man. Its a box, not a chip.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't work, both are 610s.

I know, I'm just NOT used to saying box. Everyone I have owned before was always referred as a chip.

 

I just called, they said I new $80 injector adapter kit or somthing and thats all I need. Sounds right?

 

You may want to check that, I have an 05 and it's a 610 100% says right on the side of the Valve cover. I believe the 04.5's up where the 600 then the 05+'s where the 610's. I'm sure other more wiser guys will chime in also. 06's got a whole new fuse relay center, body changes, interior, other goodies but motor is the same. Trans was changed a bit to accept the jake brake factory.

 

That sounds correct. The OE injector controls wiring changed on the 06, so you need the one for 04.5-05.

You guys may want to post in the classifieds section. Sombody with an 05 box may need a 06 harness and somebody with the 06 harness may need an 05 one?? you may be able to swap and just pay shipping?? Check it out or put one in the wanted section, I'm sure somebody will help out. Or spend the 80 bucks, you know your getting a new part also. Either way you'll love the TST
