Who has compared 4.4 level 9 to level 7?

Today I tried level 7. I always keep level 9, but my truck seems to be smoking much more lately (it has gotten quite a bit hotter over the last week). It does seem like it smokes less. Anyone else try comparing 7 vs 9 (or maybe even 5).

I am waiting to try the TNT revo, I just need to get to a PC (non-Crapple) computer. Bigwheels94 has given me some good settings to try first on TNT for good boost & low smoke.

Thanx.

FYI, this is what I will try first: TNT Sw-9/TQ-2/Time-3/RP-2/WG-off.

Thanx.

Here's what I found running 4.4. #7 and #9 ran the same et in the 1/4. Tnt-r torque management #2 rail pressure #3 is about as close to 4.4 that you can't tell the differance.

I don't have any experience with 4.4 but...with 4.11 revo sw 9 i ran a 14.4 stock turbo. I ran a 14.3 with tnt on lvl 3 and tst on 2/2 with the htt 62/71/13..and my 60ft was .1 slower. Tried tnt on 5 and tst on 3/0 and ran 13.9 with egts at 1500*+. Not sure if this helps your question any but for me Im going back to 4.11 revo it seems to run cooler than I'll be able to turn my tst up a little more. Tnt needs some supporting mods that i dont have yet. I'll have some track numbers with the 4.11 revo, tst, with the new htt turbo and see how it compares to what i did the other night. Just need to get that broke intermediate shaft fixed lol

All good info guys. Hey Billyram, what timing was that, 2 or 3? I want a lil' smoke as possible.

Thanx.

I am still noticing less smoke on 7 than 9.

Mine seems to run best on SW5 w/ the 4.4 then 7,1,9, and for some reason it runs like poop on SW3 w/ the 4.4
