What is WRONG with my BOOST. Help Please

I can't figure my truck out. Is it normal or not. Read my sig and see the few mods I have done so you know how my truck is set up. Ok, with my smarty on SW#5, the truck moves very well from a dead stop. Builds about 34psi at WOT and thats it. Is that a little low???? Also, when I am on the highway at about 60mph and floor it, boost only goes to about 32psi and does some funny stuff. At WOT boost falls and then climbs back up and falls. It basically goes from 32psi, then falls to 25psi then back to 30psi and so on...
But power does not drop off and truck feels normal. Also, on level #5 from 60mph, truck takes a little bit to get to 100mph. I have never ran any other settings on the smarty and it is current and the latest software. ALSO, by looking at my sig, what am I missing that I should have now??? Am I running out of rail pressure. Please help.

Make sure you are running the aftermarket turbo ssoftware is what I would suggest to check. Check the software version on the Smarty.

From what I remember reading the main Smarty thread people would load this with a stock turbo to get the added boost. Can't remember all the details. Read the Smarty club thread to verify. As far as downloading a new software version you can look at madelectronic's website and check it or post the version up here.

Madselectronics........Sounds good? There remains one problem though...
The turbo/intercooler ( especially the plastic ones!)/ engine can take only so much boost pressure before
major damage is done!!!

DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARES WITH THE DISABLED WASTEGATE with a STOCK Turbo!
THESE SOFTWARES ARE TO BE USED WITH aftermaket turbos and MODIFIED Engines ONLY!

Since you have an 06' truck you have a metal CAC. Only 05' had the plastic CAC. Some people do run the stock injector, aftermaket turbo software that have a stock turbo. I would recommend doing a search and reading everything you can before you change the software. If Bob Wagner gets on here he can answer your questions. I have never ran the Smarty with a stock turbo.

The 4.11 is the main software version. The 1.11 is for stock torque management(TM), 2.11 is for Mild TM, 3.11 is for Moderate TM, and 4.11 is for Wild TM. The 4.11A at the end stands for stock injector and stock turbo. The 4.11B at the end stands for Stock injector and aftermarket turbo, The 4.11C at the end stands for aftermarket injectors and stock turbo, and 4.11D stands for aftermarket injectors and aftermarket turbo. Hope this helps.

Edited: This is the same for mild, and moderate TM: 2.11A, 2.11B, 2.11C, 2.11D, 3.11A, 3.11B, 3.11C, 3.11D

Yes it does help. Thanks. My question is, with the smarty out of the box and downloaded, what is it on? 1.11?? Should I upgrade to a different TM? Apperantly this is too much for my little mind to understand. lol I take it the programmer out of the box is 1.11. So I take it the best bet for whats on my sig would be 3.11B RIGHT???

At the end the 36.7 stands for software for truck year models 03-07 and the 47.7 stands for 04-07 trucks.

SPOOLER, that helped immensely. Thanks so much... Now I know what they stand for. Now getting back to my issue of why my boost jumps around why the truck seems doggy from 60 to 100mph, do you know of any threads on the boost issues? I looked and came up with nothing.

Make sure you have the appropriate software on your computer before you plug it in to a USB cable. If no then use your truck. When it powers up it will show your software version. I had mine loaded with what I wanted on it due to the slow dialup connection at home. Thanks to Lloyd and Bob. I still set everything up on my computer though late that night and downloaded the software anyway just to be sure I could do it.
