I also hear the Revtek kit rides the best out of the 6" boxed kits.

I spent my money at Thuren Fabrication. Just sent Don some more today for his new 14-leaf, 4" longer full leaf pack and shackle setup.

I really like my Chase system when I'm off-roading, but the Lorenz Bilstein system is a great all around system for the money.

Revtek is the best bet for the money. Depends on how much money you want to spend.

I have had BDS lifts on all of my trucks and have been nothing but EXTREMELY pleased with them. The ride quality is great and their strenght is unmatched in my opinion. I have taken both of my last Dodge trucks through some really nasty stuff and never had one bit of trouble out of them. If you want to see some good pics of Dodges with BDS lifts and some other 4x4s check out thiswebsite and look at their pics and vids (TRUCKSOURCEDIESEL.COM) mine is the black Dodge dually with a bunch of mods sitting on a 6 inch BDS lift with the long arm kit and running 22.5 Alcoas with 40 inch drive tires. Hope you and anyone that looks enjoys the pics and vids.

I have had a Pro-comp, Superlift and Kelderman Air Ride lift on my 2003, and riden in trucks with the Carli and Kore race suspensions, and IMO my new truck with the Lorenz 2.25 SAW kit is by far the best kit for the money. I added a Thruren track bar and steering stablilizer to the Lorenz kit as well. If I were to do it again I would definitely go with Lorenz, or something custom from Thuren...both excellent guys to deal with!!

I have a great ride, great look, at a great price....hard to beat for under $1,100 to my door.

Everyone know's how nice our truck's ride with Bilstien 5100's and there was no way I was going to compromise that to save a few bucks on basic generic shocks that come with base lifts.

I also added a pair of Fox Shox w/ resivoirs to the front end and hung them w/ ton gunz mount. That was an extra $400 but it took my truck to another level of performance. Before the Fox Shox I was looking at getting a rear sway bar since DC decided it wasnt needed but its almost a must on a 4.5" lift. I had more body roll in the turns then I wanted. After the Fox's it took ALL the body roll out and improved my dampening by 100%.

This is a great choice for someone on a budget that want's a great looking lift w/ great shocks at a low price.

Just like everything in life it all depends on how much money you have. If I was rich sure i'd have a full blowen 5" street/race system made up by Carli, Lorenz, or Thuren (Sorry no KORE) but im not rich.

My whole goal was to to have a 4.5" lift and I wasnt going to settle on a leveling kit or a 2.5" system like the race companies had at the time. Sure I could of spent about the same on a bottom drawer system from the race companies and im sure it would ride great but I wanted the attitude of a 4.5" lift not a set of srings or spacers.

Everyone is different and has different goals. For me I still get excited everytime I look at my truck and I glad I dont have regrets on anyhting I have bought. I'm pretty poor cant afford to make bad decissions so I research the heck out of everything I buy and try to pass it along to others.

I dont think this setup can be beat for overall performance and price of a box lift kit.

P.S my second choics would be BDS. Ive heard some good things about them and them seem to be cheap.

I too am real pleased with my Lorenz 2.25 system. Sean did custom valving for my rear shocks and along with Carli long travel rear airbags and a Lorenz supplied, zinc coated, Thuren trackbar has provided me with a competent setup. Thuren's steering stabilizer has caught my eye. Maybe Santa will be good to me.

I'll be going with Carli/Thuren when the time comes. Both take the time to sit down and talk about your needs and arent just trying to push parts on ya.
