Use commas, periods and English. I would buy some gauges if you are going to haul, Smarty Jr., then dip into the tranny. Or get the triple dog and or something that is a gauge/programer if your money is tight. Then dip into the fuel and oil filtration.

For me I went with: Gauges, Smarty Jr., Exhaust, Ball Joints, U Joints, next are air bag suspension, leveling kit, bilsteins, wheels and tires, and free spin hubs. Then I will dip into fuel and oil filtration, mag tech pans and finally the tranny if it lasts. I use Amsoil and change filters often so I feel OK with my filtration. Welcome to the club and best of luck.

First thing I would do is get a good exhaust and a Cold air intake. I recommend MBRP. If you are going to keep it mostly stock I'd go with a 4 inch. Then I would go for a programmer. Bully Dog makes a good programmer, so does Banks. But the Smarty Jr seems to be the most popular on here. My dad has an 04, he just started doing a few things to his.

how are the free spin hubs working out? Any MPG increase out of them? Is it worth the money?

I was just giving you a hard time . Essays! I remember those days, and I am glad they are behind me. If it was up to me I would not go with an intake, the stock ice box is good up to 500 plus hp, you get 0 benefits from an after market one. Unless of course you plan on going big Hp's. Same goes with an exhaust, the 4 inch will be fine. I got rid of my stock muffler because of the back pressure and the drone. So I went with the Magnaflow in my sig. I don't plan on going any more HP than the Jr. will give me, so the 4 inch pipe is good enough. I did think about getting rid of the cat but there was no gain and a lot to lose with our strict DEQ laws here in WA.
My buddy has the free spin kit and he loves it. I will ask him about the mpg gain, I am sure it is around 1 to 2. I have replaced 2 hubs under warranty, and will not go back to the stock ones again.

Hope this helps. Do a search for parts and you will find a ton of info.

It all depends on what your goals are. Off road performance is completly differant than long distance highway cruising. Before you even consider any specific changes, decide pretty much what your goals are.

Otherwise, you might as well ask, "I have to fix my truck, what tools should I use?"
