What to do?!

Heres my delema. I've got a KORE Recon on my truck running 35x12.50 Nitto mud grapplers, everything was fine and dandy until I put mud flaps on now they rub horribly on the mud flaps. Running without mud flaps is not a option because in only a month without them I had to clear tar off my truck twice, and I know I seen a few new paint chips from it To make it even worse i'm in the process of making my own new front bumper that's going to add about 150lbs over stock, making the rubbing even worse. Do you guys think with just new control arms and a track bar I would clear all my rubbing? I mean I just need my axle to move up the width of the mud flap, like 1/2". I'm trying to find out because if I need more lift I would like to order a 2" spacer, new control arms, track bar etc all at once for 5" lift. I don't want to go with a body lift though. I kinda want more lift but I had money saved away ready to lower that dang loan to chrysler.....I guess this isn't the best place to ask how I can save money

If it makes any difference my truck is a 2004 3500 4x4 CTD

Here is an idea (linex flares) not for everyone but they work.

My issue is that the truck is kicking up rocks nearly to the top of the bed, I am adding pocket style flares but I still really want mud flaps for protection.

What about the back spacing on your wheels? Have they moved the tires out farther?

Yes, my tires stick out about 2", but I don't think BS has anything to do with my rubbing, they don't hit the control arms they just rub on the back on the mud flap.

I dig the linex rocker panels. I am debating on using the powerwagon flares with linex rockers to protect the lower panels. Even with the stock wheels and tires and the Dodge mud flaps the bottom of the rocker panels are all chipped up. Do you have any pics from the side?

See that's kinda my problem, even if I put on pocket style flares, my rocker panels are going to take a beating without mud flaps. Even line-X the bottom rockers means theres still nothing to protect higher up. So I can't see how to get away without mud flaps. Not to mention in the winter, mud flaps are a really nice to keep all the salt and crap off the side of the truck. The Trailback running boards I had last winter were extremly good for it, but after the lift they just had to go!

I'm starting to think I should just sell the KORE, and get a 6" lift with bilsteins for a decent ride, i've noticed pretty much ZERO street ride improvement with KORE, and the only offroad the trucks sees is a bit in the winter for snowmobiling, but any suspension is fine for that. Not dissing KORE, but it's for sure not all it's cracked up to be.
