for my 03' 6-speed i've been looking to get the Edge "hot" juice for it.. whats ur alls opnions??? i've considered the Bully dog with "crazy Larry" too. but around here i've heard better on the edge... iam also gettin a pump at the same time too to be safe..

 

Have you done anything else to the truck, performance-wise?

 

With a stock truck, you're going to want to go with the regular Juice.

The "hot" version will give you egt problems pretty quickly with a stock turbo.

There's no Crazy Larry for our trucks, only 04.5 and up.

If you want a downloader, get the Smarty, which will be available in two weeks.

It is not dealer-detectable, and will give your truck at least 130hp. Figures for the highest settings have not been discussed yet for the SO/HO trucks.

 

I'll second the SMARTY. I do'nt have mine yet for my 03, but I had one for my 01' and loved it.

 

Check out my signature. I have the hot juice and no egt problems. Plus I just stacked a predator with it and still no problems all with the stock turbo. There are all kinds of opinions but I started with a diablo power puck which had a 40 and 90 HP setting. Kept my tranny stock and used no gauges for a year and began building up from there. First to the hot juice and then the predator. I have a pusher pump in line after lift pump. Works good. There more TQ you add the more you need to build the tranny. In my opinion if you dont launch hard all the time and add a big fluid pan the 48RE should be alright for daily driving - occasional towing.
