Westin Steps and Mud Flaps
I am having a problem getting mud flaps to fit with my Westin Steps. The cap on the ends is so large that it sticks out into the area where the front mud flaps go. I can remove the black cap, but that then leaves a 4" oval opening for all the road crap to get into. Does anyone know of a flat plug that is available to go in there or any other idea to make it work. I'm tired of getting mud slung down the side of the truck. Thanks.

I have the Westin Oval Tube steps and the Mopar Heavy Duty Rubber Mud Flaps. I could slide my steps front to back by loosening the bolts on the mounting brackets on the bottom of the steps, I think there are 4 total per side, 2 front and 2 back. Hope this helps, take a look at my gallery for photos of the steps on my truck.

Steps/Flaps
eswartz,
Thanks for the info I will give that a try. Are you having any problems with the paint scratching? Mine will scratch just by looking at it.

Not much of a problem of scratching, but before I put my mud flaps on I've got some rock chips. Can't find any touch up paint for this color either.
Good Luck on the steps.

I had a 2003 black and now a 2004.5 black. The Dodge paint is terrible. Scratches and swirls since day one. Was washing it and pulled the rubber hose across fender and now have mark that did not buff out. Have used NXT and other things, doesnt help.
