We Made the Ford Guys Sad!
Thanks for the kind comments on the truck.
The only thing that remains stock is the tailpipe.
While Malcolm Cross (24VCHEVY)was building my truck he had a good look at the stock tail pipe and decided it would flow just fine. Since I wanted a low profile truck we kept it...It has helped to create quite a few surprised expressions and has become a bit of a trademark.
The Powerstroke guy that made the video is a great sport and is looking into getting a 12v or common rail swapped under the hood.
His truck is fast enough to beat stock common rails.

.... You couldn't even tell he was racing you until the last one when he jumped you (you probably intentionally let him do that
) .........
Quick question. The smoke your truck cranks out is very minimal...everyone seems to say injectors cut down on the smoke at WOT...is that true? My truck at tip-in pours out black smoke before building boost, and even after fully spooled, it still smokes more than yours does. If injectors really do reduce the smoke output, it's a no brainer to do...add HP, improve MPG, and reduce smoke! That's a
mod!

mod!You don't see it in the video, but at the lights I did the same thing to the 350Z....The spinning tires were to let him know that something was about to go very wrong!.....Too much fun!
This is going to melt some Powerstroker heads, but only reason you don't see much smoke is because I'm not on it very hard....I just kind of rolled on. The 350Z got a WOT victory burp and about 1/2 throttle for the run.
The BD twins flow plenty of air and as you can see they don't take very long to lite!
In fact the whole BD/Helix cam/F-1 Injectors/Smarty TNT(R) makes for a pretty explosive package.
It also works well as my daily driver.
I do have NXII on board, but I have never used it on the street....The truck is tough enough to stop at the race track. Using it on the street is pretty much out of the question.
In my truck the bigger the injector the more smoke and less fuel economy.
For me the power gain is definitely worth the small loss in fuel economy.
The truck is currently set up with Flux 3.3's.
My trucks not fast by any standards (on this board), but when I get the jump on guys and suprise them I always just tell them it is stock with just a bigger air filter and one of those "tornado" thing-ies... Usually make them walk away even more depressed about thier rides..
Try the original source. I think The powerstroke server gets overloaded (real power probably blew its mind!).

The 4.4's were in a different world smoke wise.
My truck had to be significantly detuned to keep smoke within reasonable levels.
Current settings with 3.3's
SW#7
Timing #2
Tq management #3
Rp #2

It would only let me watch 29 seconds.
