What's the consensus on towing heavy with an aftermarket suspension?

How heavy?

I pull 10k lbs with mine with no problem. Usually have several hundred pounds (as much as a 1000 lb golf cart) of stuff in the bed, too.

18k regularly up into the 20's on occasion. When Im towing twenty some odd thousand pounds its for less than a mile from dry dock down to the launch.

This is turning out to be the toughest decision I've made on this truck yet. I've got the cash for twins or a mid level suspension (I assume). My wife just piped in with "What about a Pacbrake?" so theres another player in the game now.

Shane, what turbos are you running? I was talking to Nathan about an s400 on the bottom and my stocker (for now) up top. That sound good to you guys?

Yep that's what I am running.. THe towing set-up!! Excellent choice... I know Jrussel just bit the bullet and he's doing that set-up too!!!

Nice. This truck is my bread and butter so first priority is maintaining the ability to tow and keeping (or improving) real world load capabilities.

I am goona go and try to help JRussel and Nathan install them on his truck!!! I want to ride in a truck with a tranny too to compare a built tranny to a stock.. I know there is no comparison but man mine is sure holding strong.. I am sure when It goes it will be HUGE!!!!!
