any recomendations for a turbo coolo down timer?

 

I have the BD cool down but are having problems with it catching shut off of key.
Sometime it does other times it don't!
Anyone else had this too with the BD Brand!

 

I've been using the Howard's cooldown timer for several months now. It doesn't monitor EGT or anything like some of the other timers, rather it's just time based. It has settings for 2, 4, or 6 minutes which is plenty long enough to cool off most anything I could imagine. For me, the price was right and it functions as advertised. I bought it from the DTR store and would purchase again.

 

I went with Howard's cooldown timer and have been very pleased with it. Would recommend it for working as advertised and it does the job.

 

Do they make a Howerds timer for the 2005, every one i have seen has been for 04 and below?

 

Howard's timer is simply that, a timer, so it should work with any truck.

I have an X-monitor with Cool Engine Shutdown timer and I like it. Goes by EGTs so I know the truck is cool, yet hasn't wasted fuel either

 

I havs an ISSPRO turbo temp monitor in mine, it hooks to a pyro probe in the exhaust (you have to add) and works very well.
