thinking about getting a smarty pod s-06 is that a good tuner for daily driving and mpg, and safe for my stock trans

Smarty Jr is all you need unless you got plans for more upgrades down the road

thats just the first thing im going to do i have a 66-74-14 turbo i could put on but then i would need a trans and dont really want to do that right now

The S06 is fine with your trans as long as you keep it on the lower settings!
