Tuff Country Dual shock setup
Tuff Country Dual shock setup
I want to put on a 2" leveling kit and put these dual shock setups with 4 Rancho RS9000x's in front. Has anyone done this setup? How is it?

I have a 2004 ..2500 with a KORE pace kit basicaly leveled I bought a dual shock tower from topgun customs and run a set of bilstiens on the inner
spring side and rough country RCX chrome shocks on the outer bracket
the dual shock set up looks cool and really made a big ride difference.
Stiff ride well controlled cornering.

The purpose of a second shock is to divide the work between two shocks under hard off road conditions. Working the shock hard causes heat build up in the shock, which leads to shock fade.
For the same money you could do a King or a Fox 2.0 and have it properly valved....it'll perform 10 times better than any Rancho shock and still give you a decent highway ride.
