My quad gauge works fine. I don't think it caused it since it does it even with it unplugged right?

I suppose. I had the same problems as you, and it runs fine now that the RP is dead. But in your case it couldv'e damaged the sensor. These quad gauges are junk, I hate to say because I am a quad fan, just wish this product would have been better designed. Hopefully it is just a simple problem that can be fixed.

Do you think that gauge could of caused my sensor to go bad? My RP gauge is working fine still.. I have been noticed some RP fluctuation for about the past month. Like 4k under wot or 1/2 throttle.. Maybe the sensor been going out??

Yeah probably. being its an 04 that could always become an issue. Didn't you mention something about a TST or was I trippin? If you are returned to stock and still see the problems then thats probably the case.

I have tst too but thats not hooked into my rail sensor.. I just don't understand why the RP gauge would smoke the sensor. It does it whether the gauge is hooked up or not and the gauge works perfectly fine..

Little confused on this. If the sensor was good or bad wouldn't it trip a code no matter what if you unplugged it??? Get a voltmeter and put it on which setting? Im not electrical guru by any means.. Will it stop at 4.5-5.5 volts?

Have you checked all of the pins in the plugs to make sure they haven't slid over or disappeared, make sure they are making their contacts when you plug them in. As far as the RP gauge goes, seems like the wiring isn't the best and causes some voltage fluctuations. Not saying it does, but the thought is in my head.

Unplugging it trips a P0193-Fuel Rail Pressure Circuit High.

The RP gauge was my first guess to. But when I unplugged it and cleared the code and the truck did it again!! Now with everything on stock and the RP gauge unhooked I crank the truck up and it will idle now but rattles REALLY BAD like a 12v!! I don't think its the gauge. I think the sensor maybe we bad. I have had some bad rp fluctuations for a little while now. Like you could feel the whole truck lose some power and then pick back up when it did it.. Now this happen today.. I just need to know how to for sure figure out if its the sensor and which one..

Oh.. Well mines pulling a too low code. I have tried cranking the truck up with both fca unplugged and then I also tried it with the rail sensor unplugged. Both times the truck ran bad and idled bad like a 12v

The FCA controls how much fuel goes into the CP3 before it goes into the injectors. It might be the problem.

My tuck did the same thing too. It was faulty wireing on my quad tow module. I took care of it with a hammer though.

yeah you need to check it with a meter like I posted above......cars/trucks are DC volts.
RP sensor is still my vote.......

Well I don't think its my quad RP gauge because
1. I have had it on there for about 2 months and no problems at all.
2. The truck started doing this today so I unplugged the gauge all the way and cleared the code and the truck still does it. So I don't really think its the gauge that did it since the truck does it with it unhooked.

I know the gauges were known to trip codes. BUT has a quad rp gauge every actually made a Rail Sensor go bad?? Or do they usually just trip codes and then unhook them and its fine??
