Question truck hp

im just wondering about how much horse power i have now, and what i need to do next on my truck for more to get more hp. i know i need a different lift pump, but mine seems to be doing great. its in the stock location but is there an after market pump that sits in the stock location?

CP3! Lift Pump. Glacier, FASS, or AIRDOG. Do that next or Tranny

are you saying a better cp3? if i get a lift pump, would a bigger set of injector be ok, or will it drain the rail without a better cp3?

Even without bigger injectors, with what your running now, I am surprised your not draining your fuel rail. You NEED a modified CP3 pump if you want to go with BIG injectors and you should already have a lift pump for SURE. With a stock tranny, you are not getting all the power to the ground that you could have with an after market. Your next steps should be Lift pump, CP3 and Tranny.

500-550 maybe?? that might be pushing it. I can not get my truck to run any better with the perfromance setting or crazzy larry just not enough fuel from that cp3. But John is hooking me up this week so I'll be ready.

If you went with a smarty, I guarentee you would be better off with power. You should really give it a try. You wont go back.

Sold my bully dog the other night. I have to pay John before I get a Smarty but will be getting a Smarty before the next sled pull I guarantee it. Just couldn't afford both right now.

not being mean in any way but i would ditch the propane. you can go alot further without it. I would say 450-500 the way it sets. if you plan to go further get a fuel system and a cp3 then get injectors

I agree jwb600. The propane is probably the farthest from what you want. Upgrade fuel system.

If your running crazzy larry and anything over 50hp injectors trust me your running that rail down. I thought mine was all right for awhile then I threw a gauge on there a wow I am missing alot of fuel.

With upgraded cp3's costing 600-1500 bucks I would think they would ahve been advertising that when you bought it.
