what kind of of long term damage are we looking at with the low end feature not the tq management on the stock auto?

Your guess is as good as anybodies, but I have read on this site that stock trans. doesn't stand a chance with the torque management disabled.

i've read that BUILT trannys are failing with no tq management and high hp numbers....i think i read where someone ran the 1/4 seven times without tq management and fried the tranny.

I hope to join in this bullydog talk by later this week Juice/A2 is going back to Utah.

I would like to see dyno sheets on the torque curves, in both modes. I got my extra low end going a little while ago, and it feels like the pedal is just way more sensitive to me. With full throttle being about halfway in the pedal travel. This setting could be interesting on slick roads with the extra low end torque enabled as I needed an egg under my foot to keep from breaking the tires loose. I have only used the tow/econ. setting so far both with, and without the extra low end enabled. As far as the tranny goes, I would think this setting would be rough on the clutches due to all of the power without the full throttle shift points or firmness. I just drove mine around a liitle and I think the shifts need to be firmed up to keep from hurting parts. The reason I did not see the extra low end option was because it is at the begining of the download onto the truck, and the option popped up for only about 2 seconds right after asking the transmission question if you dont have your finger on the Y button real quick mine will just go ahead and start downloading with it in the standard mode.

code for torque management

I was told buy a BD tech today that the code for unlocking the torque management is derived from different numbers in the serial number. it goes as follows 13th, 11th, 9th, and 7th. my serial number is:103UZ063R16SI, and my code was I6R6. Hope this helps and saves all who want to try a phone call.It is impressive, but potentially a tranny destroyer!!!

somebody try extreme with it I bet id stack realy nice with the tst, so would a tst twins and this just be stupid in terms of low end? The only good thing i can really see is for maybe towing a very heavy load up a hill at a slow speed or pulling someone out the muck

i'm confused with the power levels at hand...

tow is 50...ok
performance 90...ok
extreme? 130-140? or is the extreme yall refer to as scarry larry?

if the extreme yall talk about is the 130-140hp, why can't yall use it? EGT's? worried about tranny? I'm about to get a triple dog and am wanting to run the 130-140hp setting...will it work with my set-up? i am returning the Juice/A2....edge told me to. long story.

my mods so yall wo'nt have to scroll up: DTT input, converter, valve body and internals..pretty much everything but output....EZ, FASS 150, AFE stage 2.

Mine did the same thing. After the tranny question, it was on for like a second and started downloading. I put it back to stock and then tried to download again. This time it stayed until I selected Y or N. Hope this helps.

I think alot of people are just concerned about the tranny. I am right now anyway, being stock and all. I believe some people said it increases rail pressure(not sure so I can't say yes or no). With your tranny mods you should have no problems running extreme.
