Sucks to hear about your tranny Shane, but now you will have a bulletproof tranny to help you put power to the ground. I agree with the other guys, have your AAA card ready and blow her up on the rollers!!

Shane,

That is who I was telling you about. I wouldn't have any problems using one of their transmissions. I know both of them fairly well and they know what they're doing. I just dont remember their phone numbers. PM Opie on here and he'll get you the numbers.

Pretty sure it won't disintegrate, Shane! One nice thing about Dodge trannys is even though they might run like crap they usually won't leave ya sittin' on the side of the road...
when the 47RE in the '98 went south, 1st & 2nd were virtually useless - so I drove it out to CA to swap in the 49RE... you should be OK for a few thousand miles!

No worries, Chris! The stock LUK in the '05 held a 4LO 3rd pull last month several times - your OFE sure beats that...

Yeah but pulling my trailer every day without first or second wouldn't hack it... But I am confident it will be fine until I decide which tranny to get.. I run it pretty hard today to see what it's reaction was and it seemed to hold really well!!

When mine went out it would hardly move. Had to put in low and reverse just to get it out of the intersection. It too had been showing signs of going out.
