Towing Box... Explain it to me
Towing Box... Explain it to me
I am now towing an 8,000lb travel trailer on a weekly basis. My truck is stock to this point and it could use a little more power. The problem is, What kind of power? Do I need diffrent timing, more fuel, higher pressure, etc, etc, etc...
I aint no rocket scientist, so take it slow and make it simple...What am I looking for in a towing box? I want a little more power (WITHOUT breakage or Major mods) but I still want to get decent fuel milage?
Any suggestions on a box would also be appreciated.

I personally recommend the edge juice with the attitude,,, that way you wont have to go and buy a bunch of guages til you get hooked on power. The edge will give you all the power you could want, and more. I find also with the edge my milage went up better than it did while running the bully dog.
just my opinion

I tow a 11k 5th wheel with my truck and I have the Quad XZT and the Commander Monitor with the fuel pressure unit. This is a great combination for towing and adds power and fuel mileage. I have had the box since I turned 5k miles and just turned 30k.
