torque converter lock up switch
who other than the costly ATS control makes a switch to lock up the converter clutch? I had the ATS in my 98 and it works fine just wondered if there was a cheaper way to do it.

Just do it yourself. Look at TST's website, they have instructions for a 98.
If you are looking for your 3rd gen see the 4.5 lock up switch thread on this page, it is the same.
