Toggle switch

OK I need help I want to turn my fuel module on and off but there is only one wire that comes out of the module , do I connect that end to the toggle and then the other end to a ground or do i need to run it to the battery.
I am confused how does the module go on and off either way..

I don't know you particular setup you are trying to install but If all else is not answered I would put ground to it first to see if it works. But more than likely you will need to supply a fused 12+ power source to get something to run!!. good luck

If all you want to do is interupt the wire, all you do is cut the wire and put one end of the wire to one side of the switch and the other end to the other side of the switch. That way when you "open" the switch you just make a break in the one wire and when you "close" the switch the circuit is put back together. I am not sure just what you are trying to do but this is the way to interupt a single wire. Gene
