Hey I'm about to get some new tires for the truck because the stock ones look way to small and don't offer enough traction. After going to all the tire shops around here the 35x12.50 17" rim Toyo Open Country M/Ts are very hard to find and cheapest I've found is about $300 (mounted) and they are on a 3 month backorder, so I was wondering if I could run a load range D tire like the BFG Mud Terrain. In the foreseeable future my truck will only be used to tow a Jeep and carry camping stuff, so I was wondering if I could get by with these D rated tires. If not are there any tires comprable to the Toyo's in performance and load rating.
