I think I'm done with the big weekends. We went for t-giving and you couldn't even sneeze without getting a ticket. They were coming up with every bs excuse. A friend of mine got a $200 ticket becuase he broke a branch off of a bush at Gordons Well!!!!! (Destruction of plant life). Guess you cant even mow your lawn in california anymore.

I held off and went to Ocotillo Wells this weekend.....all I got for my trouble was rain all day Friday, fierce howling wind and blowing sand Saturday, and a trip into Brawley for my wife's broken arm....

But Sunday was beautiful.....

Bummer, been there done that and bought the t-shirt, except it was my arm. Brawley hospital was no fun, next time I'm going to Yuma. Well hopfully there is no next time.....

I'd have to say that Brawley is probably closer to Niland than anything else, except maybe Westmoreland.

Hospital in Brawley wasn't that bad....it was clean, fairly modern, everybody spoke English and we were in and out with the proper diagnosis and treatment in about 3 hours.
