Hey guys, I'm kind of new to this forum and new to the diesel world but i was thinking about running the MBRP Mk96116 muffler and then a hog 5.5" tip that is 24"s long. I can get them for right around 240 plus shipping. Can i do any better or am i right in the ballpark?

 

You get get a nice tip form an ebay store for $30-$40.

 

For the MBRP setup and tip , thats pretty close.
$160-180 for the muff and $40 -50 for the tip plus ship.
That MBRP does sound nice though.
My buds got one on his 05 with the cat.
Barely tell anything is different in the cab.

IF your truck is for off road only, you can get complete systems minus the cat for little over $300. Some include the tip.

I just ordered a MBRP 5" cat back for bout $260.

 

No i want to keep my kitty, i'm not off road and i want my warrenty. I'm going to check out ebay and see if there are any i like if not hog it is. Thanks guys

 

I've got that muffler on my truck. It sounds really nice. Give Lary Ellis (Top) a call at the DTR store. He can hook you up with a pretty good price. That's where I got mine. 304-952-6896

 

I also got mine from the DTR store. Great muffler, easy install, good fit, sounds great, not too much louder than stock if you keep the cat. No Drone.
