I have been able to find LED replacement for all of the lights on our trucks except for the light that is on the tailgate itself. I found that Recon sells a 15" LED light that is designed to go (http://www.realtruck.com/productline...html#features). Do you think that this would be able to replace that light on the tailgate or no? If no, does anyone make a LED version (preferrably smoked, but I can always have it painted).

 

How long is the light on the tailgate? If it is 15 inches, (which I actually think its 18 inches), then you are good.

 

I would go and look, but my truck is at the dealership having work done!

 

What are the numbers for the LED light bulbs. I want some in my taillights and for my turn signals. Could you help me out here. Where did you get them?

I guess I lied! Or mispoke. I have replaced my cab lights, tail lights, side markers, and third brake light with LED lights and added the RECON fire and ice light under my tailgate but I have not yet replaced the bulbs with LEDs. I bought some great ones from www.superbrightleds.com and you can find them at any auto parts store. Just get the corresponding LED that matches to the turn signal bulb. I am glad you mentioned that because I definitely want to upgrade those as well.
