TDR and DTR memberships

I have been on the TDR (catcracker) since 2000 and have enjoyed reading this board also. I have seen the content on this board steadily improve to the point to where I had to sign up. The info about 3rd gen performance is better on this site as far as my opinion goes. I am currently truckless but at 28 years old I have been around the block with 3 modded cummins diesels 97,99,03. I am now looking for another 3rd gen 6spd 3500 daully black/silver 4x4 quadcab.

Thanks for letting me joint the crowd I will be hanging mostly on this forum I will lend a helping hand to anyone who want to mod their truck and lives in Lousiana. I installed comp gauges exhaust and afe for a friend last night. I have done ball joints, fuel plates, injectors on and on.

later CAT

Welcome to the DieselTruckResource site.

Good info is always welcome.
Some members may feel otherwise if it doesn't support their stand, but it's like that everywhere

Kinda like how you moderators always delete the informative and valuable George Foreman Grill threads.

Welcome Catcracker2.

Catcracker,

Good to see you over here, IIRC from my days over at TDR you always posted good stuff.

Welcome aboard.

Hello! and welcome to DTR. I'm always glad to see a fellow "Cat Cracker" around! I work at the Valero Lima (Ohio) refinery. Are you at Alliance? If so, I went to advanced exterior fire fighting with some of your co-workers, at Elko Nevada. Again, welcome to DTR.

Cat Cracker.

I actually tried to join this board as catcracker in 2001 but it would not except my yahoo email address and I still dont know why.

I started on the SETDR and migrated to the TDR and now spitting time between TDR and DTR. I have more hours on these two sites its sick and also they have caused me to spend $$$$$ big time.

Now looking for 3rd gen and I guess to keep on the topic 3rd gen performance here is my plan.

3rd gen 6spd:
tst twins/ramifieror ez/sp66@45lbs/fe/afe sg1/cool duals/ I should be able to do this for about $5500 and later on some 3flows and arps head studs with the sp66@55or60lbs. I hate to be a follower but 500 hp with good spoolup little smoke and low egts is what you with this combo. It is also very adjustable and you can grow with this plan by adding 3 flows cam modded cp3 the only thing is if you plan to go bigger then first plan on a sbddd at least 3600lbs with 97 slave. Peter told me these 3gens can make wicked ftlbs way low and are heck on a clutch. The fe's are catching heck even operating under their rated 550hp

I need help deciding which pusher pump to purchase. FASS/predator/holly blue/ dd set up/ set up walbro some how/rasp/ list goes on and on.

here is a price list that might help some folks who are wondering what 500hp might cost. (This includes self installation for everything except clutch) auto should add at least 3K to do it right.

1 tst (twins) $785
2 sp66/ps66 $1,600
3 ez $275not sure if this is what i want
4 sb/fe $1,344 installed
5 exhaust $320
6 gauges $323cheap ones would probably go with cobalts more$
7 fass 95pgh$389not sure if this is what i want
8 AFEintake $369
$5,405

Catcracker, how in the world can you guys sell vaccum tower bottoms to people? Thats got to be the nastiest stuff known to man. ANYWAY, WELCOME TO THE FORUM. Good luck in your quest. The set-up you mention should give you 500hp, perhaps more.Any one of the fuel systems will work. Some just better than others.
