Tall narrow tires?

Hello. What are the best tall/narrow tires? After I get spacers, I want tall tires. I have my eyes set on 315/?/17's. I don't want it to be hard on the steering geometry to steer and I want the best possible MPG.
Thanx.

You want narrow and are considering 315's?

Pizza Cutter tires

I ran 255-85-16 mud tires on my '97 Chevy. I loved the looks and they even ran good in the sand when aired down. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a comparable size in 17 in tires.

I'd love to find something like that size as well. I had two sets of Dunlop Radial Rover RV's on my ram 1500. One that size then a set of 235/85/16's. Why is it so hard to find a set of 255/85/17 or anything close that's also E rated?

Oh, the humanity!

Interco makes Swamper SSRs in 35x10.50x17, e-rated. They are the tallest and narrow tires that I know of.

Thanx guys. I like the 10.5 SSR's, but that is more aggressive than I want.
