T3 versus T4
T3 versus T4
i know the T3 inlet flanges work great for a street driven truck, but how much loss of streetability is lost when going to a T4 flange for a single turbo setup? i am looking at the Garrett GT3788 custom built, not the stage 3 turbo, or the GT4094.i am looking for around 650hp at the rear. either turbo will have a non wastegated turbo housing, i will be running a Tial 44mm external wastegate for rock solid boost control.as far as fuel is concerned i will be running Flux 2.5, Helix Cam and a modded CP3. any info would grately be appreciated

welli just got off the phone with Tom at Turbo Resource and he said not to go with the T4,and Tim at TRE said the same thing ,stay with the T3. hey soulezoo who built your GT4094R with a T3, i would like to do the same thing

- 'Banshee' and others have played with the 44 and got 'cycling'. It opens and closes repeatedly; just too big for our trucks.
- 38mm is all you need. If interested, I ran a Tial 38mm, with a 21 psi spring and a Wilkenson Regulator.
Will handle exhaust from 7-800 hp easliy.

thanx for the heads up. does that Tial 38mm have V band flanges or is it the 2 bolt style. the reason i ask is i am going with the tubular equal length header that is in the pics along with the ED wategate adapter, and the waste gate adapter only comes in a V bang flange.
