Straight piped

Today I decided to go ahead and remove my cat and I removed the muffler about a week ago and still wanted it louder. So today I had the cat cut out and it is deffinately louder. When it get on it is really loud but when I am not on it its sounds good still which is what I wanted. But it seems like it may of lost some power. Have ya'll noticed this to or is it just me? I have the end of the pipe exiting behind the rear wheel just like stock.

I didnt lose any power, even when I put the 5" straight pipe on it

Its a 4" downpipe back to where the cat used to be, then 5" all the way out...

I didnt think it would open it up to much. I bet that is loud as hell with a 5".

Its not too bad, sounds great though
May add some 6" pipe from past the axle out, my buddies truck has 5" from the turbo to over the axle, then 6" out, sounds great(12 valve), and now my tailpipe looks way too small

I straight piped mine...I love it! At first I thought it was a little weaker, but it is fine. However my egt's are down a touch....mainly at idle... I hit 250 with no problem

I would love to straigt pipe mine, but there is alot of FUZZ around here. My truck is too quiet with the twins, but the kitty ran away from under my truck, so I dont need any extra attention. They sure do sound great straight piped though. I may actually buy a magnaflow cat, maybe shake out the inside then put her in and straight pipe it, just need the $$$$$.
